Our Patio Installation Process
When it comes to offering paving services to our clients, we carry out the following process:
- We conduct an initial consultation to establish your needs and ensure we can complete the work in terms of regulations. Once this consultation is complete, we will provide you with a quote for the service.
- Our team of specialists will clear the garden of any debris, old slabs, and vegetation in the area marked for patio installation. We will also excavate any soil if necessary.
- Using professional levelling techniques, we ensure all soil at the base is laid firm and compact.
- We put down a weed control membrane that will help make sure no weeds can grow through the slabs.
- We install a MOT type subbase over the membrane and compact it to make sure the surface remains flat and even.
- Our paving services team will lay down each slab on the level subbase and pave them. Once they have dried, the landscapers will wash the paved slabs and prepare for pointing.
- Once all these tasks are complete, your new patio will be ready for use!
